And then Damon, Tiffini, Chase, Albert, and DeeDee broke off from the group and formed The Party in ‘90. Which brings me to what’s happening this Friday here at Landa. A Party.

Friday night, Party on Landa. It’s a time to celebrate all that’s happened, and all that’s about to happen. Come at party time, leave at leaving time. There will be refreshments, musics, projections, treats, surprises, dancing, friends, fresh faces, antics abound.

1. Norman - The short film, written and directed by resident No Performer Crza. Began pre-production in February, overnighted the final DVDs today. Hundreds of people involved, giving more than anyone should be allowed to give. My deepest appreciation. Please, come celebrate.
2. Happy Late Birthday! - I turned a year older in November of last year. Jonny did too, in April. I’m pretty sure most of us have in the past year, so let’s celebrate.
3. No Shitty Kids 2 - People are Precum 2: the Sequel. Come get down with less shitty kids and ejaculate.
4. The Joint Custody Project Reunion - The strange and wonderful experiment at FoundLA has demanded we conduct inventory on the orphans. Please, wander under our humble roof and nourish with drink and celebrate.
5. Little Merced’s Birthday - It’s been a year since the tiny grakiel was discovered pawing for dear life in a gutter. Now she’s a full-grown sassy black thing. Catch her slinking through the crowd and celebrating.
6. Graduation - Weems’ illustrious career will now shift into the professional world. Laura’s final was a full-on film +1. Linds and Elliott, on satellite in NYC, are now Masters of Arts. If you wear a graduation gown to the party and do lines off your hat, bonus celebr8ball and cokedance.
7. End of the Television Season - Upfronts were just announced, and no one cares about any new hybrids of 4 strong friends who do different shit or whatever. Sympathy for Zuiker and The Man. Current shows finished posting, and now it’s summer vacation. Is it worth it? Come celebrate.
8. 10 hours of Projections finished - Video images for Ten Pin Alley in Atlanta are shipped and gone, giving lucky bowlers in Georgia a taste of the crap you have to deal with in Hollywood. And on Landa when you celebrate.
9. Crza’s Going Away party - Just for the month of June (See #7). Heading north to MTL, living in a loft and learning how to better mix records.
10. Buttons After Party - Thursday night at Broadway Bar. That’s where we’re starting. Keep celebrating.
11. 2 Years at Landa Studio - Soon to be the longest place we’ve lived in L.A. Chimali keeps it hot. He’ll be there celebrating.
12. No Performance 3 year anniversary - Why not? Started with Jonny’s music video for Drew. Weddings, more music videos, projections, Norman. Micturate.
13. Jonny getting evicted from his studio - At least there’s a story to tell about it. Confiscate Ok Ok I’ll stop.
14. Found Gallery WebStore Launch - Buy some art, bring the receipt to the party, and I’ll fellate your bong.
15. DJ Harvey Preparty - Saturday night the legend celebrates 10 years of parties in L.A. Save an ounce of NRG to party until Sunday morning late late late.

Yeah, it’s excessive, but it’s necessary. Bring your own reason and come celebrate something with us.
