“The city of Montreal will have to pay a Dollard Des Ormeaux doctor $30,000 in compensation because a drunk city employee ruined his grandson’s bar mitzvah. Dr. Peter Neumann had rented out the Pierrefond Cultural centre for the event. His lawyer Jordan Charness says the employee, who was later fired, made rude comments about female guests, stole and then wanted to sell ice cubes, toilet paper and hand towels. Charness also got into an argument with the bandleader who suffered a heart attack and was clinically dead. But he was resuscitated by Neumann.”
