Chris Cruse is from Richmond, Virginia. He fondly remembers home - the thunderstorms, the monuments, abandoned skyscrapers, deep cemeteries, and the search for something to connect it all. Then he came to Los Angeles for a different home among imported palms, concrete overpasses, neon, retrofits, street shortcuts, and perpetual glitter sun. They wrestle for attention, but he rarely knows who wins.

Chris writes, produces, directs, and edits shorts, feature films, and music videos about tourists and those who continue because that's all they know how to do. He has a flair for the technically sassy, the emotionally elusive, the seductively dangerous, and the constructively destructive. In his free time he rolls his hips, DJs a radio show, and occasionally takes pictures of Jonny vomiting. In production, he finds his strength in both the creative and detailed sides of production, bisecting and rewiring his left and right brain. He conspires with those who share a need to splinter, unite, laugh, yell, find, share, keep, and create.
